News: Slamdance Finalists
by jcr13Monday, December 4, 2006 [6:46 pm] finalists for the 2007 Slamdance Guerrilla Gamemaker Competition were announced last week. This year, there are fourteen games on the list.

Out of those fourteen, it looks like twelve are currently downloadable, at least in demo form. All the games look innovative in one way or another, and there may even be a few art games lurking.

I'll be reviewing all of the downloadable finalists, one a day, over the next few weeks (of course, I won't be reviewing my own game, Cultivation---you can see it hacked to bits elsewhere).

The 2007 IGF Finalists will be announced at the end of this week.

Congratulations on Cultivation being selected as a finalist! I'm glad to see such an innovative game getting the attention it deserves.
